It’s that time of year again! The best time of the year for Visual Merchandising and Window Display Design! All of the holiday windows are finally installed and I am loving them! I have only had the chance to visit the ones on 57th and 5th Ave so far this year, but I’m going to make a few installments, starting with Tiffany & Co.
The Tiffany Blue Bird
The Tiffany Blue Bird theme is based around a fairy tale where a princess is locked away in a castle separated from her love. Her prince charming was sent away from the castle and had a spell cast upon him as he was turned into a blue bird.
To break the spell and return to his love, every night he searched to find her a special gift
After a long time searching, her found the most beautiful ring.
That would break the spell to bring them back together again, if only she would say yes to his hand in marriage.
Which of course she did. It’s a Tiffany diamond!
Beautifully crafted and enchanting.
The illustrator of the windows concepts contacted me and allowed me to show his renderings.
Aren’t these illustrations beautiful! Please visit www.baerdavis.com see the rest of the illustrations.
The next installment will be Van Cleef Arpels!
All COPYRIGHTS RESERVED. Please contact me if you would like to use my photos! Thanks.

Love the Tiffany photos! They’re the first photos I’ve seen of the completed windows – and I helped create them! I was brought in to help work out the designs and do concept illustrations under a massive time crush and wasn’t involved with the actual construction. I wasn’t expecting them until Thanksgiving Day. Thanks so much for posting these!
I’ll be posting some of the original artwork on my website tonight if you’re curious to compare. I can’t wait to see them in person!
Thanks again.
Baer Davis
Baer – Any idea if the birds and small white trees can be purchased? (Or do you have an in??) They’d be perfect for my Love Bird Tiffany Blue themed wedding this Spring!!!
Lovely windows – TY for sharing these with all of us who can’t be there.
I love the windows!! I have only been able to see a few in person in my life, as I moved out of NY when I was 15. I’m now 21, and every Christmas comes again, and I still miss seeing them!! Thank you for sharing!!
These are great!! Very romantic!! Do you know who the display designer is? I’d love to check out more of their work.
I saw these displayed in the West Palm Beach store and they are just beautiful! Any idea if they are available for purchase? I am getting married in the Spring and our theme is Love Birds and we’re using Tiffany Blue!! The little white trees with the small tiffany blue glass birds would be a PERFECT cake topper or table display!!
Katie, I’d get in touch with Lucy-Ann Bouwman of Sightgeist Design, Inc (see my comment below). I’m sure she could put something together for you!
By chance I met the designer of these displays this past weekend in NYC. Lucy-Ann Bouwman of Sightgeist Design, Inc. Very talented lady, and I love the new windows too!!

probably far too late to comment but I thought I might reply anyway. I produced these windows in collaboration with Jonathan Ro-Scofield and Lucy Bowman. In addition to constructing all of the window displays world wide, we also made all of the little piano-key boards, tree and book displays for the interior cases. After Lucy worked with Tiffany and Baer on the concept renderings, she helped us develop the physical display (even helped us pack and ship them because of the short production schedule)Jonathan, Lucy and I then installed all of 5th Ave windows but shipped all of the others. an experience I will remember forever.
