Wardrobe: Gearing Up For Fall

This weekend I’m finally taking the time to go through my wardrobe to put away my warm weather clothes and pull out my wintry clothes. I’ve been putting it off up until now but with last night’s cold temperatures of 36˚ I can’t put it off any longer. I also realize that I have to take the time to do this in order to keep myself from spending any unnecessary money.  I’ve been feeling pretty bored with my style as of late and I’m guessing it has a lot do with the fact that I don’t have anything great to pick from for these cooler days.

On my way home I decided to pop into a neighborhood clothing store that opened this summer called O.N.A on Vanderbilt and happened to splurge on some new denim and booties (see, I really need to go through my closet ASAP). I ended up “needing” the pieces I purchased and I’m seriously so, so excited to wear them!

What else am I planning to buy this season? A turban of course! Last year they were desirable and this year, they’re looking chicer than ever. I’ve especially fallen for this orange one from ASOS.  Oh and yes, I am especially smitten over this horsey scarf, you can NEVER have enough equestrian inspired gear! To finish the look, I’m dying over these wine colored, ombre jeans by Blank Denim – they also have the layer of sheen to give them an added edge. Last but not least, I love a good leather jacket and one to ease the transition of fall into winter is a must have (it would be a big ticket item in my wardrobe but a great investment too).

Love all of your choices, especially the orange hat which would look great on you. I too have to get my winter clothes down and put away my summer ones. Unfortunately, it is time. Good luck with all of your efforts. Also have a clothing pick-up Tueday, so am hoping to cull down both winter and summer clothes that haven’t been worn in a year!!!
